New Sales Team Hire: Central Regional Sales Manager, Richard Marquez
Stamford, CT- July 3rd, 2012 – Richard Marquez will join the American Halal/Saffron Road team on July 9th as Central Regional Sales Manager. With 8 years of experience in the specialty gourmet and natural foods industry, Richard has a proven track record of success in growing companies in the both the natural and specialty foods channels. Over the last 5 years Richard has risen through the ranks at Natural Specialty Sales/Acosta. Most recently he was Business Manager for the KeHE Midwest team. Richard’s experience there will serve Saffron Road as well as KeHE, which is one of Saffron Road’s fastest growing distributors.
Richard was previously Director of Natural for Northern California for NSSales which rounds out his experience in the key natural channel where Saffron Road is quickly becoming a leader in its class. Richard started his Natural Foods career as an Associate Team Leader at Whole Foods Market in California. This gives Richard a key understanding of how to implement Saffron Road new product launches and promotions at store level.
